Youths make JDC selection

Posted by Chris Nightingale on 19 October 2014

Old Wulfs Youths Luke Archer, Dan & George Jandu, Callum Nightingale and Jack Pearson, were selected to attend the recent Sandwell Junior Development Centre (JDC) for hockey. These events are aimed at players who are very competent in the core skills of hockey and are considered the future top players of their club team. The players are first nominated to attend an assessment to be considered for a place on a JDC and the sucsessfull trail was carried out last week.

They now start several weeks of coaching and game play from now to the Christmas break.

Following the JDC, They can be selected to attend the Black Country Junior Academy Centre (JAC).  Players attending the Junior Academy Centre have been identified as playing at a very high level and have a high skill set as shown at JDC level.

We would like to congratulate the lads on their efforts.
