Junior Indoor training

Posted by Nobody on 10 November 2015

The session will be at New Park School, Valley Park Campus, Cromer Gardens, Wolverhampton, WV6 0UB

These will be on MONDAY night. Starting 16th November

The sessions will be an hour (6.30 – 7.30pm)

By doing this we hope that we will be able to introduce young players to indoor hockey, remove any concerns parents may have about young players being outside in very cold weather and reduce the number of training sessions that we lose when the weather tends to be at its worst. It also has the advantage that there is somewhere warm where parents can stay and watch the training if they wish and avoid the need for two return journeys. Normal inside PE kit is all that is needed, plus shin pads, gum shields and sticks.

We would like to encourage any member who would normally be part of the Tuesday “Junior group” to consider attending this as an additional training session. However, the Club is also mindful of other commitments members may have during the week (not least homework!) and if any junior understandably feels that they can only commit to one session per week, we would ask that you stay with the Tuesday session, which will continue to be from 7.00 – 8.30pm, as this continues to be the primary training format for you.
