Old Wulfs 1 - 3 Wednesbury

Old Wulfs face in form Wednesbury, a team yet to lose  in summer league.

the first half does not warrant much comment, Old Wulfs found themselves 3 nil down at half time. Old Wulfs should have only been 1 or 2 down at most, but some unfortunate decisions did not run there way.

The second half was much the better performance. And early on Old Wulfs should have had a goal, when Ben Hart did not give up on a long ball, kept it in play and squared, for Litchy to score, Goal given. But the umpire and the opposition concluded that the ball had gone out of play, Goal disallowed. Which was rather unfortunate. As not all of the ball had crossed the line.

Old Wulfs continued to press winning short corners, which were cleared off the line. But after a flowing move Old Wulfs got their goal, after a neat finish through Tutton. This made Wednesbury very on edge and were not the same threat they had been. Old Wulfs finished the game the stronger team and the score did not reflect how close the game was and rather flattered Wednesbury.

3-1 final score
