Match Report

I Would like to congratulate all the boys for securing there first win of the season and Old Wulfs Badgers first away win in 3 years.

The game started with Justin, Kai and George dominating midfield and giving the chance to Kieran and Sundeep to put pressure on the Lichfield defence.

Lichfield had numerous breaks however they couldn't get the ball past Mac Fullwood and Ian Wall.

Lichfield conceded a short corner. Old Wulfs took the advantage by Kieran slapping the ball out to George. George flicked the ball of the defenders stick and took a firing hit at goal, this gave Old Wulfs the one goal advantage.

In the closing stages of the first half Lichfield were finding gaps in the Old Wulfs defence.

The Lichfield attacker fired a ball to the right hand post giving Luke the chance to do a diving save to keep Old Wulfs with the chance of winning.

Old Wulfs nearly had a two goal advantage after Ian fired a ball straight across the D to Sundeep to slot in however the Lichfield adult cleared the ball of the line.

Old Wulfs went in at half time 1-0 up.

The second half was similar to the first half, Old Wulfs were putting pressure on the Lichfield defence but still couldn't find that second goal.

Halfway through the second half one of Lichfields youths got injured after a miss hit ball from one of the midfields. At the same George Jandu got injured after there adult fired a lifted ball across the pitch and hitting George on the leg.

The rest of the game was easier for Old Wulfs defence as Luke only had to make one save.

The game finished with Old Wulfs securing there first win of the season.
