|Result||L 2 - 5|
To point out I would like to say that 3/5 scored were scored by two 2nd teams who were both sixteen and shouldn't be playing badgers.
The game started, and to everyone's astonishment Old Wulfs went 1-0 up after a fine pass from Justin to George to skill on the goal keeper and slot it in the bottom hand corner.
After 10 minutes of both teams have good possession and Old Wulfs had conceded two short corners. Both of the short corners were took by their 'adult' player and both converted after two thunderous strikes.
Halfway through the first half Stone were gradually getting stronger and finding gaps in the Old Wulfs defence. However well defended by Mike, James and Mac.
In the closing stages of the first half, Stone scored twice after some poor defending on the near post and a failed attempt to get the ball away.
We went in at half time 4-1 down and it didn't look like it was getting any better for the away team.
The second half had begun and Old Wulfs were playing much better with some great passing between Kai,George and Sam- giving Kieran the chance to have a shot but all pushed away by Stone.
Similar to the first half Old Wulfs were under immense pressure after Stone were having continuous shots at goal and many 2 on 1 situations with Luke. All attacks were saved by Luke once again.
The following 15 minutes carried on the same. Thomas, Jack and Callum were attempting to push forward but couldn't find a way through the Stone defence.
10 minutes till the end of the game, George Jandu found the back of the goal once again after skilling not only the keeper but 3 of the Stone Defence.
Ending the game on a low note Stone scored their 5th goal of the game after some poor defending on the back post.
Well done to all the lads playing against a very strong/older badgers team.
Goal Scorer: George Jandu (2)
