The second half of the season started with a change to the normal team. First half was end to end with both teams having long periods of time in one another's 25. Nick, Kharam, Paul and Ray all playing out of their skins to dominate the midfield. Nick, went on a run down the wing which consequently led to him falling over and fracturing his ankle this provided the chance for super veteran Mike Mann to make his 6th team debut.
Similar to the first half, both teams had their fair share of posseion but struggled to carve out any chances on goal. However, this was broken when Old Wulfs won their first short corner of the game - Ray Jeff placed the perfect ball to James Archer who slammed the ball off the backboard to give the home team a 1-0 advantage.
This was a 'wake up' call for Stone who applied heavy amounts of pressure and eventually scrambelled the ball away with 2 minutes to go. Despite the late goal, Bob Munn and Chan Singh were resiliant at the back along with Steve Rowlands allowing Stone to only have a handful of attempts on the Old Wulfs goal.
MOTM: Kharam Durha - closely followed by youngster Paul Johnson.
