Telford 11-1 Old Wulfs

With several players out through injury Gareth Mintern (Hand), Darryl Ablard (Hamstring) and Richard Roberts (The Higher Authority), Old Wulfs gave an indoor debut to Ryan Harding. The first half was a frantic and the lack of an accomplished holding midfielder showed, as Telford tore through Old Wulfs and exposed the centre of midfield. At Half time Old Wulfs were 4-0 down and had only managed a couple of short corner efforts and one break away effort from Ben Humpherson. Old Wulfs didn’t have the rub of the green in the game, especially when the keeper was allowed the kick the ball out the area at knee height and for Telford to have a 2v1 situation against Colin and score. But Old Wulfs need to learn to react quicker and always play to the whistle.

The Second half was much more laboured then the first half for Old Wulfs. Tired legs meant silly mistakes were made and Telford started to wrack up the goals. Ryan on his debut pulled a goal back when a quick counter attack was finished nicely off at the back post. Whilst the match was not Old Wulfs finest, it certainly highlighted the areas of improvement required. Final Score Telford 11-1 Old Wulfs.
